PhotoTrainer Field Trips are a great way to reinforce the camera training you got in The Jumpstart Course. Or you can simply join us in a photo rich environment for a day of stimulating photographic activity centered on getting comfortable with your DSLR camera in Manual Mode for serious and rapid improvement.
During the year I offer monthly Photo Field trips to help you explore a variety of photographic experiences. Landscape, Seascape, Birds, Food photography and Portraiture, Let me help you gain in-the-moment confidence using your camera in manual mode to get the best shots your camera has to offer. Let me help you get the best shots your camera has to offer.
The main focus of the Photo Field Trip is to get you active with your camera buddy. The ergonomics of the DSLR are well designed and intuitive, and you will see this as I exercise you in the shooting cycle: meter > focus > compose > shoot so that you gain new confidence and facility with your camera.
I will also run you through the shoot and review cycle again – reading the light and the histograms for excellent quality shots. The review and process familiarity gained will help you get excited about practicing photography with your camera from now on.
Join us for a Shoot and Review field photography class shooting tide pools and seascapes on a rare excellent low-tide day. This is only time this year when the tide is low in the morning. We shoot early, grab some lunch and then go to PhotoTrainer HQ to review our work in Lightroom.
