If you like Landscapes, Nature, and Waterscapes you will enjoy this workshop. Flora, Fauna, and Fliers abound. The Baylands have a lot to offer us in terms of subject matter. Learn how to setup a good landscape composition. See how reflections on water and Polarizers can expand your creative potential photographically. This class starts at 8am (yep, that's right!) we break for lunch at 11:30 to 12:30ish
In the afternoon we look at the light again, see how to work with the hard light of day, with demos of side light and back light with some fill options. We Cover more compositional techniques and move into independent shooting with guidance.
This class has a follow up evening session the Wednesday after by way of Google hangouts. Each student prepares 20 images we share on screen. |

The explore workshops are designed for people who have had one of the Jumpstart DSLR workshops. If you are interested and have not taken one of these PhotoTrainer classes, and are an intermediate level photographer you are welcome to join us; do nevertheless, call Tom before signing up. For improved learning, we limit our class size to 6 people.
Please note this workshop teaches the DSLR camera. You need one of these cameras to participate in a class. Please read “Is your camera a DSLR?” to determine if your camera is a Single Lens Reflex camera. |
